Fairthorpe Electron Minor bought as a kit by Brian Townsend in 1959 and used for commuting, etc. until 1978 before being parked up. After being abandoned in the garden until 2009, the chassis-up re-build then took place until 2014 to make it road-worthy. It took a further two years for Brian to get it to a standard deserving of the Frank Collins Memorial Trophy for the Best Fairthorpe that was awarded at the 2016 Fairthorpe Gathering .
